Willi und die Wunderkröte

In 2021 I worked on the movie "Willi und die Wunderkröte" at LAVAlabs Moving Images. I was responsible for creating the digital toad from 2d concept paintings. I 3d modeled, textured and shaded the digital character from scratch. The asset had to work in various lighting scenarios and needed to be appealing. After the rigger and the animators did their magic, I was responsible for setting up the 3d scenes, recreating the lighting scenario from the live action footage and rendering out the final cg elements for compositing.
